Google has recently released a mid-range phone in the market. They have released two versions of this phone naming Google Pixel 3a and Google Pixel 3a XL. Apparently it has already become popular among the people. High end specifications in a mid range budget from a top mobile company was enough to attract the fans. Google Pixel 3a is the ultimate example of affordable high end phone.

The Google Pixel 3a was released in May,2019. They come with two different models, Google Pixel 3a and Google Pixel 3a XL. Classic design with front glass looks almost similar to Google Pixel 3 with rounded edges and screen corners, and the same rear design.
However, the material used on the Pixel 3a panel is plastic whereas the Pixel 3 back panel was made of glass. This certainly explains how the cost was cut down to deliver a budget phone. There is no notch or punch hole display like other phones, instead designed keeping the classic bezel with a 75% screen to body ratio in Pixel 3a and 76.3% screen to body ratio in Pixel 3a XL.
Both of them come with OLED capacitive touchscreen with Asahi Dragontail Glass. The Pixel 3a has a 5.6” display and 3a XL has a 6” display and both features 1080p HD display. Both of them are quite light-weighted due to their plastic body.

The most exclusive feature offered by this phone is the stock Android. The Google Pixel phone presents a more simplified version of Android that is user-friendly and looks clean. They get the operating system updates first where other Android mobiles take more time to provide the update. The Google Pixel 3a and 3a XL come with stock android version 9.0 (pie).
Both of them present 4GB RAM with 64GB ROM with Snapdragon 670 chipset and Octa-core processor. Which is not quite as fast as the expensive high end mobiles, but it is certainly one of the best in this range. If we compare it with Pixel 3, it seems a little slow. But still smooth and clean since the stock Android.

They both feature a single rear camera and a single selfie camera in front. Pixel 3 was so popular for its camera quality, its single rear camera is enough to beat all the multiple camera phones in the current market.
Pixel 3a and 3a XL both got the same camera as the Pixel 3. 12.2 MP f/1.8 camera comes with a dual LED flash and a better HDR. The rear camera is capable of equally sharpened and vibrant photos just as dual or multiple cameras. It can also shoot 4k videos at 30fps and 1080p videos at 30/60/120fps which is quite brilliant as a budget phone camera.
The camera can click excellent portrait photos also. Most cameras require two sensors to click and process a portrait photo, but the Pixel 3a and 3a XL could easily handle portraits with just one well-built camera.
It has no secondary sensor yet it can click well sharpened and well-focused portrait photos, which is brilliant. The front camera is an 8MP f/2.0 selfie camera which is quite average just as the mid-range mobile phones.

Google Pixel 3a comes with a non-removable 3000 mAh Li-Po battery and Pixel 3a XL comes with a non-removable 3700 mAh Li-Po battery. Which was better than their flagship predecessor Pixel 3.
Both of them are enough for everyday use. They come with fast charging capabilities and a Type-C USB charger. However, none of them have wireless charging feature.
Both of them present 3.5 mm jack which was absent in even Pixel 3. This is a plus-point of them because many fans were quite disappointed with that missing feature of Pixel 3. The audio system is consisted of a loudspeaker with stereo speakers.
The Google Pixel 3a and 3a XL is quite excellent according to its price and feature. They both provide an equally solid performance just as an expensive flagship phone and also the stock Android gives it a smooth and clean interface. Though the looks and material don’t feel as elegant as expensive phones, it will soon be a centerpiece of the current market for its affordability and top-notch features.
